  2. I found this page and blog very interesting. I knew that Africa was a poor developing country, but I never really thought of the reasons why. The blog mentioned geography, for example, and the lack of entrance or access to the sea as being an economical disadvantage. Very interesting and economically very true.
I also really agreed with the blog when it mentioned that the economic crisis in certain countries (Africa) is not solely their problem but our problem as a human race. It also explained very well the concept of economic dominating countries and the problem with their continuation to dominate the economic market and the cycle of poor countries staying poor.
Also, speaking in “cultural structure terms,” the African people value their traditional leaders. These people and individuals may not have any official political power, but rather power over the people and holds the power and privilege to gain their trust. The blog hit that point right on. Political leaders and traditional leaders go hand-in-hand.
Overall, I found the blog to be very insightful and it constituted for an educational read. I learned more about the African economic crisis and the different realms and factors that contribute to it. Frantz Fanon appears to be a creditable author and his work seem to be insightful and accurate. I am now interested looking for an English version of his work to educate myself further on this subject matter!
